On another note, we have an agents meeting coming up. Agents, the agent meeting will be taking place on March 15th, at 9:00PM Chotime. All agents should attend, though it is not mandatory.

We will meet on the most populated city, in the Agents' HQ. If you have any questions or concerns you feel that needs to be discussed, please have your inquires ready prior to the meeting. Please make an effort to attend, agents!

• The posts on your blog should not be copied from the main blog or any other resource. They should be original and creative 
• Images found on the Official Blog may be reused in your posts 
• Your blog should have at least one active blogger and no more than four bloggers 

Of course, journalists are rewarded with great perks such as:

• Your blog will be featured on the play page 
• Journalists will receive a special badge on their playercard with the title of their blog, along with an exclusive playercard 
• In the beginning of each month, journalists receive one week of free citizenship* 
• Automatically receive the feather item 
• You will be invited to write one post on the Official Blog 
• The ability to contact a moderator via PC, even if their playercard is blocked 
• Your blog will be bookmarked by the moderators 
• Your website will be featured on the Official Blog 
• A purple nametag 

You have until the 7th of March to submit your blog in the form of a comment on the Official Blog. After submissions close, the team will review all the blogs and pick out the new journalists.

• In the beginning of the month, each author will receive a week of free citizenship
• Automatically receive the feather item
• You will be invited to write one post on the main blog
• The ability to PC a moderator even if their playercard is blocked
• Your blog will be bookmarked by the moderators
• Your website will be featured on the main blog
• A purple nametag

Submissions will be opened until Friday, February 7th. Make sure to include the link of your blog as well as your Chobots name and all the other requirements in the comments section of the main blog. After submissions close, the team will review all blogs and pick the new February Journalists.

January Journalists: To ensure all former Journalists are still eligible, you must reapply for Journalism to keep your status.

Apply for December Journalism

Hey everyone!
The Chobots team is currently looking for some new users to join the Journalist's program, so now's your time to apply. Make sure you read the official requirements below before you plan on submitting your blog.
Since we all know the year is coming to an end, the team is looking specifically for blogs that focus on the whole year in-review. This can include things such as special events, parties, and significant updates. If you include this type of content on your blog, it will have a higher chance of being featured.

Here are the requirements you should make sure you follow before submitting your blog:

• Your blog should be at least a month old, and updated with the latest news weekly.
• The posts and content on your blog should be original and creative. You may not copy from any other sources, such as other blogs or websites.
• Images found on the Official Blog may be used in your blog posts.

Of course, Journalists are rewarded with many benefits:

• Your blog will be featured on the play page
• You will receive a journalist badge with the title of your blog on your playercard, as well as an exclusive playercard skin.
• One free week of citizenship at the beginning of the month
• You will be invited to an exclusive mailing list to receive information such as upcoming events and news before anyone else
• Automatically receive the feather item
• You will be invited to write one post on the Official Blog
• You will be able to contact a moderator through PC even if their playercard is blocked
• Your blog will be bookmarked by moderators
• Your blog will be featured on the Official blogroll
• A purple nametag

Submissions will be open for an opportunity at Journalism until Friday, December 6th. Make sure to include your blog link in the comment section, as well as your Chobots username! After the submissions are closed, the team will review all the blogs and announce the new December Journalists.

November Journalists: If you are interested in remaining a Journalist, you are not required to resubmit your blog.

Journalists are users who have outstanding blogs that are up-to-date, and have a nice design. If you're interested in applying to be a November Journalist, please make sure you meet these requirements:

• Your blog should be at least one month old, and updated weekly
• The posts on your blog should be written by you - not copied from the main blog or any other website
• Your blog should have a clean design and an organized layout

Of course, journalists get amazing benefits, such as:

• Your blog featured on the "Play Now" page
• You will receive a journalists badge with the title of your blog and a journalist playercard skin
• You will receive a free week of citizenship at the beginning of the month
• You will be on an exclusive emailing list to receive updates, future events, and other news before anyone else
• A feather hand item

Submit Your Blog For Journalism

Hi guys,
Do you have a fantastic blog you think is worthy for a spot on the Official Blogroll? Then you should try for journalism! The Journalist team consists of the best bloggers around.

To become a journalist, you must meet the following requirements:

• Your blog must be at least one month old
• Your blog must be active (at least three posts per week)
• Your blog posts must be written by you, not copied from anywhere else such as the main blog.
• Your blog should be well decorated. It should have a nice template, header, etc.

You can submit your blog by commenting on this main blog post. Submissions anywhere else (ex. support email) will not be counted.

Now, for all the journalists hard work, they are rewarded with the following:

• A spot on the official blogroll on the sidebar of the main blog
• Advertisement of your blog on the top bar above the play window
• A journalist badge in the bottom right hand corner of your playercard
• You will be able to submit a post to the main blog and have it published
• The ability to private chat a staff member even if their playercard is blocked
• A free 10,000 bugs at the beginning of the month
• A purple colored name tag in game.

It's that time of the month again...:o

 

 

Yes, agent recommendations! What were you thinking?

Do you know someone that has a great attitude and is helpful around chobots? Make sure you include them in your recommendation for agency! With a detailed explanation of why they should become an agent, you can nominate up to 2 chobots. From there, a poll will be created that has the chobots with the most recommendations.

This time, the nomination process will be a bit different. Instead of commenting your recommendations on the main blog, you will instead fill out a specially designed page specifically for agent nominations. This way, the votes will be kept a secret! Nobody will know who has the most recommendations until they post the poll.

Remember, only recommend people who you feel like actually deserve agency, not just because they are your friends. Also remember, please no cheating, or else you will lose your chance at agency forever.
