Cultural Week Fashion Show

Hi everybody!
It's been a great week of celebrating culture, and why not finish off with a bang? That's why we're going to have a Cultural Fashion Show! The party will be a fashion show of each culture celebrated throughout the week, hosted in Bluewonder's house. Read below for more information:

Culture Week Decorations

As we all know, the long awaited Culture week has come upon us. To get prepared for the fun week ahead, the team has revamped some of the popular rooms found in Chobots to get celebrating! Let's take a look:

Shop Street presents us with a nice decor of French flags, as well as some fancy tables and chairs to dine at.

Space Port Square shows us a large statue of Ganesha, the widely worshiped deity in Hindu religion, primarily found in India!

Academy Street offers some organized banners of the Italy flag, along with some statues of Chobots!

The Park shows us some amazing cherry blossom trees found in Japan, as well as the country flag.

Eco Street has many great aspects, such as the telephone booths and lamp posts displaying British culture!

Finally, Rocketmall street displays some fancy cacti wearing sombreros and proudly showing Mexican culture to its finest! :)

Winter Disco Recap

Hi!
As you may have known, the Winter Disco recently took place! Even though there was a delay, the party still went on, and I have some great pictures!

To kick off the event, our agent Bacachoo hosted a small quiz for the winter ribbon. Adventurous ended up winning that, so congratulations to her! There was lots of magic and music, even a little bit of rain! The party was fantastic!

November Updates

Hi everybody! It seems like it's been a while since the Events have been updated, hasn't it? Well now the November ones are fresh and ready!

No images on some events because they wouldn't load.

It looks pretty exciting, right? Although Game Night has already taken place, it looks like we still have a Clothes Refresh to look forward to, as well as new journalists on the 27th, and Thanksgiving the day after.

Furthermore, we all know Christmas is nearing, so the team has decided to open up a new citizenship package!

I'm assuming "The Countdown" refers to the countdown 'till Christmas, right? Anyways, with this single package, you get all five items! That's right, two pairs of wings, a sun shield, a stars magic, and what looks like a snowflake item, PLUS 10,000 bugs for only $4.99! This is definitely one of the best citizenship packages Chobots has offered, so get it while you can! Even though this is the only package, I'm sure the team is preparing some more fun and exciting updates.

Hangman/Pictionary Event

Hi everybody! It's been a while since we've hosted a hangman and pictionary party, hasn't it? That's why the team is going to host one this Tuesday!

This event will take place on Tuesday, November 5th at 7:30PM cho-time, on the most popular server of that time. If you're having trouble with the time, here is a timer:

Don't know what each game is? Hangman is a game in which a certain amount of blanks are drawn, and a player has to guess each letter until someone finally guesses the word/phrase. The catch? You only get a certain amount of wrong guesses - enough to draw a stickman. Pictionary is a game where someone draws a picture of anything and the players jobs is to guess the picture as quick as possible.

German Unity Day!

Guten tag! The team is hosting a very special event for German users and everyone else to come and participate in!

First off, what is it that we're celebrating? German Unity Day! If you're not German, here is a brief description from the main blog:

German Unity Day (Tag der Deutschen Einheit) is annually held on October 3 to mark the anniversary of the nation's unification. It remembers when the Federal Republic of Germany and the Democratic Republic of Germany united to create one single, federal Germany on October 3, 1990.

Meet the German staff members and everyone else at the Park on Chocolate on the 3rd of October at 7PM cho-time for some fun German music, magic, and quizzes! It would also be nice if you could wear colors that match the German flag (black, red, and gold). I'll offer some quick examples below:

The best part about this is, you don't have to be German to participate! Anybody from across the globe can come to this event, regardless of locations. Hope to see you there!

A Weekend of Fun

Who's ready for a picture-perfect weekend? I know I am!
That's why the Chobots Team has decided to celebrate their first even Chollywood Weekend!

Join the Chobots Team and your friends by taking a walk on the red carpet and partying Hollywood style! Make sure to wear your best outfits, because the best dressed might even get a neat item.

Pictionary/Hangman event!

Do you love competing on the underground walls? I know I do! So that's why Mike is hosting a pictionary/hangman contest for us!

What: A day of fun and games in the underground!

Where: Agents underground on the most popular server

When: September 18th, 21:00 PM cho-time

If you're not sure of either game, you can read a brief explanation below:

Pictionary: Pictionary is a game where one user draws an object/person/place etc. on the wall step by step and your job is to guess it first. The first person to guess correctly will receive a point!

Hangman: Hangman is a bit more complex than pictionary. One person will think of a word/phrase and draw blank spaces on the wall, one space represents a letter. Then, one by one, a person will guess a letter. If they get it correct, the user will fill in the blanks with the corresponding letter. If they get it wrong, then they will draw a body part of a stick figure. You can't get too many letters wrong, or else the stick figure will be completed and you will lose! The first person to guess the word/phrase wins.

Doodle Days

A few days ago, Toastytim introduced Doodle Days to us, a competition on the underground artist walls in which an artist and staff member compete in a timed drawing competition. Unfortunately, I was not able to attend this event for long, but I captured a few snapshots of it!

It looked like everybody was having a great time, and the winners got an exclusive beret! I hope to attend the next one so I could compete. Great job and I hope everyone that attended had a great time.

A fun week ahead

Contest, Winners and a Party!

I hope you all had an exciting and jam packed weekend, I sure did! Let's review what happened:

First off, there was an amazing Twin Party hosted at the Shop Square! Unfortunately, I couldn't attend, but I managed to get a picture and others thoughts!

I've heard rumors that the party was amazing, even though I couldn't make it! It looks like everybody was having blast, and the winners for best twin will be announced soon.

Next, the winners of the hide and seek contest have been announced! Unfortunately, the event caused quite some lag and the moderators weren't able to finish off the game. However, they do have two winners to announce.

Congratulations to Elthomii and Hydra! They managed to be the quickest to find Mike and Coby after they hid. You guys will receive five days of citizenship and 10000 bugs. Fantastic work, seekers!

Finally, it looks like Daisy could use some feeding! All the heat of the summer is making her exhausted.

Starting September 8th, all the way to the 10th, you will have a chance to give Daisy a full helping of hay (and maybe even a second course!). Make sure to rack up as many points as possible, because the top three competitors will win some amazing prizes!

Drawing Contest + Hide and Seek

Hi everybody! I hope you're having a great week so far.
Are you a talented artist? Do you love to draw? Then this contest is for you:

That's right! A drawing contest is up on the main blog. In the spirit of returning to school, Ariel has decided to host a Back to School Drawing Contest!

You can draw your picture on the computer, the graffiti walls, or in real life. Please make sure to upload your drawings to Tinypic, Imgur, or any other image hosting site that provides a direct link. Make sure to include your chobot name in the comments, so the team may award prizes! You have until Setember 12th to submit your art here. Good luck!

Due to technical issues, the last game of Hide and Seek couldn't be completed, but have no fear! The team is going to host another one!

Meet the moderators at Eco Street for a friendly game of hide and seek. Once everybody is set and ready, the staff members will run off and hide, and it'll be your job to find them! 

For those of you that have never played hide and seek, make sure to wait until all the staff members are hidden - looking before would be cheating! Also, moderators can move themselves anywhere in the room or make themselves invisible, so you'll have to look pretty hard. The chobots who find the mods first will win awesome prizes. Have fun!

I can't wait to see what else the week has in store for us!

Back-to-school fun!

School is in session, which calls for many fun activities through chobots! How about we start off with a couple fun contest?

Your first one is board games. All games in the academy street have been opened for you to enjoy and have a good challenge with your friends. We need to get in tune for the school, so you'll have to use your brain for all these activities!
The contest will last until the 31st of August. The top players will receive prizes after that. Good luck!

Next contest we got going on is a fun storytelling one! For this contest, you need to create a scrapbook, comic, or video to show any fun events you did this summer. It could be anything from hanging out with your friends at the pool, to taking a vacation to the tropics!

Music Jam!

We all love music, so the team decided to dedicate a whole day to jamming out on our favorite tunes!

You are asked to purchase (or wear) an instrument and make some music, along with other songs the moderators will be playing throughout the day.

There will also be a contest associated with the Music Jam. To enter this contest, you need to form your own band (two users minimum, five players maximum) and play your instruments somewhere on Chobots . Take a picture or record a video of your band rocking out! After that, submit your entry here in a form of a comment. Be sure to include the name of your band members, as well as the name of the band. The winning group will receive citizenship!

Note: You may not participate in more than one band, and all submissions must be uploaded to tinypic (if it is a video, upload it to youtube) Submissions close on August 8th.
